Will you still update the free indicator?
I’ll continue maintaining the free indicator on Tradovate, but no longer actively developing new features.
What about Mac users?
NinjaTrader Desktop requires Windows. Some Mac users run Windows via Parallels. Sum by a mid-range Windows machine. Check NinjaTrader documentation for minimum system requirements.
My Tradovate footprint disappears on chart refreshes. Is this fixed?
No, NinjaTrader runs natively on your Windows desktop and is stable. Any chart refreshes will NOT cause a loss of indicators.
Is NinjaTrader free?
Yes, NinjaTrader 8 for Windows is free to download and use for trading.
Do I need to cancel my Tradovate?
No. Many traders use both. (Including myself)
Do I need a new NT data subscription?
No, your existing Tradovate account and date subscription work directly in NinjaTrader.
